Riyadh - Mubasher: All retail activities that have not yet provided an electronic payment (e-payment) solution in Saudi Arabia are now obliged to offer an e-payment mean starting as of 25 August, announced the National Program for Combating Commercial Cover-up (Tasattur).
The mandate is part of the programme's initiative to oblige the shops and outlets to provide an e-payment system in an attempt to reduce the use of cash.
Moreover, the decision includes all restaurants and cafes across the kingdom.
